A quick update on the film: WE’RE WRAPPED!
This has been a long time coming, and we are so incredibly thankful for your patience with us. Making a documentary has been a huge feat, and we wanted to thank all for your help, from the people we interviewed, to our wonderful crew not just based in Seattle, but across the globe, and most importantly you. Without you, A Brief History of Time Travel could not have been made.
We were really quiet last year, but here’s a recap of what’s been going on in our end:
- In May, Tracie Turnbull came up to Seattle to put the original soundtrack into the film. Her music is on the latest trailer. Click here to give it a listen.
- From February-October, we worked very hard on the animation. There are over 20 scenes in the film that are animated in some way, shape or form. This is definitely what took the brunt of the time.
- In November we worked with John Davidson Color and went back to Jack Straw to do a run through of the sound effects and final mix.
Looking Forward: What’s Next?
There are a couple of shop things we need to take care of, like double checking credits, licensing, etc. It’s no small potatoes, but now that the film is complete it’s on the forefront of our list to complete.
Over the next few weeks we will be working on distribution opportunities, applying for film festivals, and of course having a private screening here in Seattle. We’ll be updating the blog as news comes up.
When will you guys get your rewards?
We have T-Shirts already made, and we’re working on creating DVDs and posters. We’re hoping to get those rewards to you as soon as we can!
Thank you so much for being patient with us. This documentary has gone through a lot of changes, but we worked hard to make it the best possible version it can be, and we’re excited to share with you the final product.
Thanks again and have a great 2018!
